The making process

Every garment is meticulously designed, crafted and slowly produced in Sonia's atelier located in her first boutique in Stoke Newington, with thoughtfully curated fabrics from the best suppliers in England, sometimes vintage fabrics and her very own prints. A slow approach is applied to every step of the making process with hand-finished techniques and the inclusion of unique details (rhinestone buttons, lace, specially placed pockets and so on) in her garments. This approach means that a very limited quantity of each design comes out from the atelier into her boutique and onto her e-store.

A bespoke service is offered upon request where the same unhurried method is taken, which includes several appointments and fittings to get the best-suiting silhouette. Please check the Sur-Mesure section on the drop menu of our website, or contact Sonia Taouhid on info@soniataouhid.com for more information.
